Norma Shearer's smooth soft face and lithe figure can fill a man's heart with yearning, especially when limp and clouded with overwhelming sorrow. Takes place in that crisp monochrome fantasy land where everyone is young and rich; nightclubs are filled with riotous revelry, streamers, and balloons; men are so sharply clad you could cut yourself on their edges; doors are huge, fireplaces white and empty, armchairs and bookshelves streamlined, ceilings nonexistent; every woman's overcoat is splendid, every gown spectacular, every hat absolutely darling, and the lounging attire and negligee... well!
